Avery Dyen
Avery Dyen is a licensed Florida attorney specializing in litigation, real estate, and government law.
Avery graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Florida 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History with minors in history and psychology. She received the Garnet and Gold full merit-based scholarship to attend Florida State University College of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude with her Juris Doctorate in 2022. Avery began her legal career at an insurance defense law firm before joining Waugh PLLC in 2024. Through her passion for the law and a commitment to excellence, Avery plays an integral role in delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
During law school, Avery honed her skills in legal research, case analysis, and strategic planning through her involvement in Trial Team, Florida State University Law Review, Florida State University Business Review, and Business Law Clinic. In the summer of 2020, Avery served as an intern for Judge Weiss in the Civil Division at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. Additionally, she served as a law-clerk at a prestigious law firm in Tallahassee where she researched complex legal matters related to construction, trusts and estates, bankruptcy and land use.
Avery is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

Outside of work, Avery enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and dogs, and art. She is fond of any activity that involves making something and has recently been focusing on ceramics.
